  • Key Accountabilities

    Business
    • Mmanage the delivery of the integrated Procurement Plan with Global and Regional stakeholders in Procurement to ensure effective geographic milestone planning, dependency management, reporting and recommend revisions to the plan where appropriate.
    • Strategy Development & Implementation: Support the Group Head of NC Procurement and Categories Managers to drive the development and implementation of procurement strategies and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of Procurement strategies into the broader Line of Sight.
    • Process Design & Optimization: Design and optimize procurement processes, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies which will be assessed as part of XCELerate. Conduct functional assessments of the new technologies and evaluate their compatibility with existing WoW. Link with Category Management and Functional Transformation Manager. Ensure seamless integration of digital transformation initiatives into day-to-day procurement operations.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Project Managers and XCELerate Workstream Leads to align procurement transformation initiatives with the overall program goals. Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and incorporate feedback into the procurement workstreams.
    • ‘Outside In’ Insights: Provide expert insights into market trends, benchmarking, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in Procurement in terms of Procurement Strategy, Business Insights, and Digital Transformation. Engage with Central Operation Excellence on Consulting organizations such as Hackett, Procurement Leaders and Gartner on a periodic basis.
    • Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new procurement strategy, processes and technologies. Support the design of trainings to procurement teams to enhance their capabilities

The Procurement organization design sets a clear delineation between the development of procurement strategy (Global) and the execution of it (either Global or local).

    ii. Knowledge, Skills and Experience


    Experience

    • Min. Five years’ experience in managing workstreams within global programmes
    • Experience in managing complex projects and programmes to improve performance and deliver service supported by excellent knowledge/skills in Project management principles and practices.


    Skills & Qualification:

    • Procurement Experience: track record of extensive experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier relationship management, and procurement operations.
    • Business Strategy Accum: An excellent understanding of the role of procurement within the global supply chain operations, specifically an understanding of the role of procurement strategy in supporting the corporate and operations strategy.
    • Process Expertise: solid knowledge of existing procurement processes and a proven ability to design, optimise, and implement innovative procurement workflows.
    • Technology Proficiency: expertise in utilising procurement technologies such as Coupa and SAP..
    • Digital Fluency: good understanding of how digital tools and technologies can transform and optimise procurement processes.
    • Procurement Operating Model: strong comprehension of the procurement operating model, both at the central and local levels, with the ability to align strategies and initiatives accordingly.
    • Self-Driven and Accountable: proactive, self-motivated individual capable of taking ownership of initiatives, driving projects forward, and delivering results within established timelines.
    • Innovation and Curiosity: consistently seeking out and proposing creative solutions to procurement challenges. Embraces a forward-thinking mindset to drive continuous improvement.
    • Creative Problem-Solving: adept at approaching challenges with a creative mindset, providing unique and effective solutions to complex procurement issues.
    • Stakeholder management and Integration: Strong Stakeholder management with high maturity of interpersonal skills, professional communication and presentation, proactive influencer and integrator in team collaboration.
